PBA Partylist Representative Mark Sambar has provided BagoSphere with 650 scholarships for the 144-hour Contact Center Services (CCS) training program. The scholarship is open to Negrenses who want to develop their English, IT and customer service skills and work in the BPO industry.

BagoSphere was started in 2012, to help young people keep up with the unprecedented pace of change in skills and the workplace. Currently based in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, the social enterprise provides short-term, career focused education programs and connects students directly with employers. BagoSphere invests in curriculum development and design to continuously adjust and deploy student-centered programs to meet with employers’ talent needs.

In 2017, the enterprise has reached more Filipinos, by expanding its efforts to Metro Manila. BagoSphere has provided classes in Ateneo Center for Educational Development and Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines.

Aside from working with BagoSphere, PBA Partylist is also active in advancing youth and social programs by conducting various livelihood projects, medical missions, and
sports programs. At present, Rep. Sambar already has around 2,000 scholars and are finishing their college education in 11 state universities and colleges around the country.

Like Rep. Sambar, BagoSphere believes that every individual has immense potential, and that we must empower them to imagine and change their life for the better.
